(ii) diploma in banking recognized by Central Govt./ State Govt. is desirable. (iii) Proficiency in local language, i.e. Hindi is essential. (iv) Knowledge on Computers:  Preference shall be given to candidates who are computer literate in MS DOSS, MS Word, EXCEL NET WORKING. (v) Knowledge of English language is essential.

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality / Citizenship: (a) A candidate must be a Citizen of India, (b) A Candidate must be the domicile of State of Utter Pradesh.

Relaxation of Upper age Limit: (i) Scheduled Cast / Scheduled Tribe Candidates – 5 years (ii) Other Backward Class candidates – 3 years (iii) In the case of Ex-service commissioned Officers, including ECOs / SSCOs who have rendered at least 5 years military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignments is due to be completed within the next one year from the last date for receipt of application) otherwise then by way of dismissal of discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or on account of physical disability attributable to military service or on invalidment.  – 5 years (for Officers), 3 years (for Clerical cader) in addition to an actual period of service rendered in Defiance Service subject to a maximum of 50 years. (iv) Widows, Divorced woman & women judicially separated from their husbands & who are not remarried (Subject to max. age limit of 35 years for General & 40 years for SC/ST candidates) only for Clerical Cadre – 9 years. (v) Employees serving in the regional Rural Banks and who have put in a minimum of 5 years of service – 5 years. (vi) Physically Challenged Category candidates – 10 years.
