Federal Bank Exams Notification For Specialist Officers

FEDERAL BANK invites application from candidates for the post of the following Specialist Officers.

The eligibility criteria prescribed for each post is mentioned against the respective posts. Candidates, who satisfy the eligibility criteria, are advised to apply online between the dates prescribed below (both days inclusive) using the link given below after going through the instructions also given below. No other means / mode of application will be accepted.

HR HEAD

Educational qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Personnel Management or MBA (specialization in HR)

Application fee (Rs.) : Nil

Age: Maximum 45 years as on 01.01.2010. (For members of staff, relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years)

Relaxations: Stipulation of educational qualifications & age relaxable for candidates with exceptional experience

Experience: Minimum 15 years experience in the field of Human Resources Management in any Scheduled Commercial Bank/ reputed Company. Candidates should have experience in various areas closely related to Human Resources Management such as disciplinary matters, recruitment process, performance management system, training, etc

Mode of selection: Interview only (candidates will be called for interview at the absolute discretion of the Bank and based on the suitability, experience, profile, etc)

Position / Scale of Pay: Salary will be competitive as compared to those available in the market. Depending upon the qualification, experience and profile of the candidate, remuneration / scale of pay negotiable

TREASURY HEAD

Educational qualifications: Post Graduation in any discipline

Experience: Minimum 15 years experience in Treasury operations in front office, mid office, back office, etc in Officers cadre in Scheduled Commercial Bank / reputed companies

IT HEAD

ECONOMIST

Educational qualifications: Post graduation in Economics.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in economic research as Economist/ Chief Economist in a Bank/ FI/ reputed firm. The candidate should have experience in forecasting business indicators, environmental scanning, building up of data bank, econometric models and industrial profile.

Mode of selection: Interview only (candidates will be called for interview at the absolute discretion of the Bank and based on the suitability, experience, profile, etc)

Position / Scale of Pay: Salary will be competitive as compared to those available in the market. Depending upon the qualification, experience and profile of the candidate, remuneration / scale of pay negotiable

LEGAL OFFICERS

Educational qualifications: Graduation / Post Graduation in Law with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University/ Institution.

Age: Maximum 35 years as on 01.01.2010. (For members of staff, relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years)

Experience: Candidates should be enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council and should have minimum 5 years active practice as Advocate in civil/ criminal court OR 5 years experience as legal officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank. Experience gained during the training period before enrolment as an advocate will not be counted for eligibility. Exposure with special reference to Banking would be an added advantage.

Mode of selection: Written test and Interview. Candidates will be called for written test / interview at the absolute discretion of the Bank and based on the suitability, experience, profile, etc

Position / Scale of Pay: Scale I or II depending upon the experience and profile of the candidate

HR OFFICERS

Educational qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Personnel Management or MBA (specialization in HR) or Graduation / Post Graduation in Law with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University/ Institute
