Eligibility Criteria:

A. NATIONALITY / CITIZENSHIP :- A candidate must be either (i) a citizen of India, OR (ii) a subject of Nepal, OR (iii) subject of Bhutan, OR (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania ( formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii) (iii) (iv)& (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination / interview conducted by the bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificates have been issued to him by the Government of India. The candidate should be a domicile of Maharashtra and should have proficiency in local language i.e. Marathi.

B.    Relaxation in upper age limit :
•    Scheduled Caste /Scheduled Tribe Candidates 05 years
•    Other Backward Class candidates 03 years
•    In the case of ex-service commissioned Officers, including ECOs/SSCOs, who have rendered at least 5 years military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within the next one year from the last date for receipt of application) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or on account of physical disability attributable to military service or on invalidment.
(i)    03 years ( for Office Assistant ) in addition to the actual period of service rendered in Defense Services subject to a maximum of 50 years.
(ii)     5 years ( Officers Scale I )

•    Persons domiciled in Kashmir Division of Jammu & Kashmir State During the period from 1/1/1980 to 31/12/1989  05 Years
•    Widows, Divorced women & judicially separated from their husbands & who are not remarried ( subject to maximum age limit of 35 years for General and 40 years for SC/ST candidates ) only for Office Assistant Post.  09 years
•    Physically challenged category candidates 10 years

2. Candidates must write his/her name , date of birth and address on the reverse side of the Bank Draft / Bank Pay Order
3. Payment of application fee and postage charges by Cash / Cheques /Money Orders etc. will not be accepted.
4. Candidates supplying for both the posts should submit separate application for each post along with requisite application fee separately for each application.
5. Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and fee and postage charges once paid will not be refunded on any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other selection process.

(a) Written Test :- The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of written test and interview. All the eligible candidates who apply with the requisite fee and whose applications are received in time will be called for written test which will comprise the following : -

How to Apply:
a) All eligible candidates should apply in the prescribed Application Format given at the end of this advertisement (www.vkgbakola.org) to reach on or before the last date for receipt of application. Applications received after the last date will not be considered.
b) If a candidate is eligible and desires to apply for more than one post , he/she should make separate application for each of the posts which he/she wishes to apply for along with separate application fee for each of the posts.
c) A candidate must fill the application form in CAPITAL LETTERS in his/her own handwriting.
d) Application should be in (21 Cms X 34 Cms) size paper and should be strictly as per the format and contain no correction /alteration /over writings. Certified copies of the following shall be enclosed to the application.

i) Caste /tribe/community/disability /defense service certificate in case candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PC /EXS.
ii) Class X certificate /mark list containing date of birth.
iii) Xerox copies of educational qualifications certificate.
iv) SC/ST/OBC candidates will have to produce viability certificate at the time of interview.
v) Domicile certificate issued by competent authority.
