Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality/ Citizenship:
A candidate must be either i) a Citizen of India or ii) a subject of Nepal or iii) subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.  Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.  A candidate in  whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/ interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the Government of India has issued the necessary eligibility certificate to him/her by the Government of India.

Educational Qualification:
Second Class with 55% or more (45% for a recognized University or any equivalent examination recognized as such by the Government of India.

Age (As on 01.03.2010): min 21 years – max 30 years

Relaxation in upper age limit:
•    SC/ST candidates by 5 years.
•    Ex-Servicemen (including Commissioned Officers including ECOs/SSCOs who have rendered at least 5 years’ military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within 6 months) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency; or on account of physical disability attributable to military service; or on invalidment by 5 years.
•    Other Backward Class candidates by 3 years.
•    All persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in Kashmir Division of J&K State during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 by 5 years.
•    VH/HI/OH – By 15 years for SC/ST , By 13 Years forOBC, By 10 years for GEN.

Application fee including postal charges:
For SC/ST/VH/HI/OH candidates – Rs.50/-
For All Others Rs.300/- (including OBCs/Ex-servicemen)

Selection Procedure:
All the eligible candidates who apply with the requisite fee and whose applications are registered in time will be called for a written examination which will comprise of objective and descriptive papers.
The objective test will consist of Test of Reasoning Ability, Test if Quantitative Aptitude, Test of General Awareness on Socio-Economic Developments and Test or English Language.
The Descriptive paper consists of 5 compulsory questions with internal options, to assess knowledge on Socio-Economic Developments and Communication Skills. Candidates shall have the option to answer the descriptive paper either in Hindi or English. The Descriptive Test is only a qualifying test.

Examination Centers : Ahmedabad, Banglore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai.

How to Apply:
Candidates are required to apply on-line through website www.corpbank.in. No other means/mode of applications will be accepted.
•    The guidelines for filling applications are as under
•    Candidate should have a valid mail id.
Candidates are advised to pay the application fee/postal charges in cash “at any of the Branches of Corporation Bank”. After payment, the candidate must collect the payment receipt, quote the particular thereof in on-line application form and retain the original receipt to be surrendered along with the call letter at the examination hall. The payment should not be made before 18.03.2010 and after 08.04.2010. Even if Bank extends the date of on-line registration by on or two days the valid dates of the payment of fees will not be changed, Valid dates of the payments also remain the same for far flung areas.
•    After applying on-line, the registered candidates should keep a printout of the completed application for future reference.
