Oriental bank of Commerce SO 2017 Notification : Dear Aspirants, Oriental bank of Commerce (OBC) has published the official Notification for the recruitment of Specialist officers under SCALE-I, II and SCALE-III Post.

For the above reference the bank is now inviting online application from the candidates for the fulfilling the vacancies under specialist officers. Eligible candidates can apply for the above recruitment from the official website of Oriental Bank of Commerce.

Senior Manager (FA) – Chartered Accountant, Taxation – 1 post

Senior Manager (FA)- Chartered Accountant Ind AS Cell – 1 post

Scale II (MMGS – II) :

Manager (FA) – Chartered Accountant: 18 posts

Scale I (JMGS – I) : 

Assistant Manager (Financial Analyst): 100 Posts

Eligibility Criteria for the Post of Specialist Officers in Oriental Bank of Commerce :

Age Limit : 

Candidate who are interested in the above recruitment must having the age between 21-30 years as on April 1, 2017. If any candidate found not satisfy the age criteria shall be discarded from the entire recruitment process.


Education Qualification : [For Assistant Manager (Financial Analyst)]

Applicant must possess MBA degree in Finance/ PGDBM (2 years) with specialization in Finance OR Qualified Chartered Accountant OR ICWA OR CFA from recognized college/ university/ institutes.

For the Post Of JMGS-I : No expereince is required but must having the above education qualification to get eligible for the specialist officer recruitment.

Note : Experience Required is only for the SCALE-II and SCALE-III Post.


Selection Procedure :

SCALE-II & SCALE-III : Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Personal Interview. Their in no examination for this post. The merit will be made only on the marks secured by the candidates in Interview.

Interview Marks for Scale.II & III Post : 100

JMGS-I : Candidates will be selected on the basis of Online examination and Personal Interview. Those who qualify the written online examination will be called for Interview.

The online examination consist of five sections carrying 200 marks and time allotted for the exam is 120 minutes. Cut off is applied on both Sectional and Overall. Personal Interview will be of 50 marks in JMGS-I.
