Age Limit : (As on 01.04.2017)

The Candidate must be of minimum 21 years and not older than 30 years that means the age limit to apply for SBI PO lie between 21-30 years.


Education Qualification :  (As on 01.07.2017)

Candidates must have a Graduation Degree in any discipline from recognized University. Those who are in Final year of Graduation can also apply for the recruitment of SBI PO. 

The Qualification will be valid only if the applicant can produce their graduation marksheet before the date mention above.


Exam Pattern for SBI PO 2017 :

State Bank of India will conduct the Examination for the Recruitment of Probationary officers in Three Phases - Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination and GD, Interview.

Those who clears the Prelims Examination will be shortlisted for Mains Examination. 


Mains Examination will consist of two sections - objective test and Descriptive Test. The Descriptive test will also conduct in online mode.

Descriptive Test:

  • The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).
  • The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.


Final Result :

Prelims Exam marks will not be considered for Final Merit Listing.

Marks Obtained by Candidates in Mains exam ( Objective+Descriptive) and GD, Interview will consider for the Final Merit List.


Application Fee :

Those candidates who are interested and wants to apply for the above recruitment will have to pay the fee in online mode for the registration and application submission. Following amount have to pay by the candidates in order to submit their application.

For General and OBC candidates - Rs. 600

For SC/ST candidates - Rs. 100

  • Fill the rest of the details then Click on the Final Submit button and Pay the fee Online through Net Banking.
  • Take the Print out of your Application form and e-receipt for future reference.
