This year many PSB’s Banks like Andhra Bank, Syndicate Bank, United Bank of India, Bank of Baroda are conducting exams through Manipal Courses and in coming months Indian Bank and IDBI Bank also conducts exam for recruitment of probationary officer through MANIPAL PGDBF course. Due to this vacancy becomes less in IBPS PO VI 2016.

In Manipal PGDBF course recruitment their is a provision to sign a bond upto 2-3 Years ( bond varies from bank to bank)
Bank of Maharashtra last year i.e., in 2016-17 also conducts PO and Clerk Recruitment through Manipal Course. Clerk Manipal Course is of 6 Months diploma provided in PGDBF ( Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance).
Exam Pattern in PO PGDBF Exam : To get admission in University providing PGDB couse, the examination is consist of mainly three stages. Prelims (Some bank are not conducting Prelims exam), Mains Examination (with Descriptive Test), Group Discussion & personal Interview.

IBPS Examination Pattern :
Bank Examination Pattern and syllabus also changes drastically when we look into the previous years. In-fact most banks and Insurance exams are now consisting of three main stages- Preliminary and Mains Examination followed by Descriptive paper and GD (Not in IBPS) , Interview (only in PO recruitment)
In Prelims Exam there are three sections ( 100 Marks – Time 1 Hour ) – [ For Both PO & Clerk ]
Numerical Ability (35 Questions)
Reasoning (35 Questions)
English Language (30 Questions)
Note : No sectional timing in Prelims exam. Sectional and Overall cut off is applied. Negative Marking of 0.25 Marks
In Mains Examination there are 4 sections : ( 200 Marks – 160 Minutes )

In IBPS RRB (Regional Rural bank ) Office Assistant (Clerk) Exam and RRB officer Scale-1 (PO) Exam the time limit for Prelims Exam is 45 Minutes.

For Clerical Recruitment there is NO Interview and the Marks obtained only in Mains Examination will be consider for provisional allotment.
From 2016, in RBI Assistant Exam and NIACL Administrative Officer ( New India Assurance Company Limited ) exam also their is a provision of Prelims and Mains examination followed by Interview.
Sectional Timing : Now their is also a provision of section timing in most of the Bank & Insurance exams like SBI PO, SBI Clerk, IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, NIACL AO, NICL AO etc. It means you have to complete a particular section in given allotted time.
for example : If Reasoning section having 50 Questions and their is a time limit of 45 minutes then you have to complete that section in 45 min. only. You cannot switch to other sections (like Maths,GA, English) until that 45 minutes is completed.
Education Qualification for Bank exams and Insurance exams : For most bank and Insurance exams the qualification is limited to Graduation from any recognized Government University or any equivalent qualification as such recognized by Central Government.
But in some cases like in PO Manipal PGDBF program, the required qualification is minimum 60% in Graduation degree for General/OBC and 55% for SC/ST/PWD.
Age limit Required for Bank & Insurance Exam : Minimum 20 years and Maximum 28 years ( In some banks relaxation is provided up-to 30 years)
